Established in Edinburgh since 1990, Graciela Ainsworth Sculpture Conservation has built an excellent reputation with a wide-ranging client base for completing conservation projects with great sensitivity and enthusiasm, including The National Galleries of Scotland, The National Trust for Scotland, The National Museums of Scotland, local governments, trusts, architects, and private owners.
As the first Sculpture Conservation company to be founded in Scotland, Graciela Ainsworth and her team have gathered an unparalleled wealth of experience in this field and are sought after for their consultative as well as their practical skills in the conservation and restoration treatment of, for example: marble, sandstone, limestone, alabaster, granite, plaster, stucco, bronze, copper, terracotta, ivory, bone, mother of pearl, polychromy, polychromed wood and gilding.
We regularly provide consultancy and conservation works in the form of inspection, reports, documentation, condition surveys, actual conservation work and relocations of sculptures.
